Super-prime real estate - Building memories for generations.
Lamorva were tasked with creating a series of statement books that truly represent the magnificence of the Stately home portfolio.
Each piece a discrete project in itself, personalised to the property and Inspired by building traditions that shaped the masterpieces of British architecture over centuries.
We cheated. Or, rather, we used the magic of CGI. By combining digitally rendered images with real-life views we were able to see the future before it even existed. The reader was able to explore and read about their future home even though it was months, maybe years, away from picking up the key. ‘Making dreams real’ is a grand claim, but it’s one that both Stately Homes and Lamorva can make with confidence.

You have to give fresh thinking real space and total freedom to breathe. That means a comprehensive brief, and a blank sheet of paper to play with. ‘Fuel’ is a regular discussion point at Lamorva. The human brain relies on sugars to get fired up. Neil, our Creative Director, likes to take in the air of the canal path, the nutty tang of a real ale at the Lock Stock and Barrel, and then add a small snack for the return walk. This time it was the retro-futuristic crisp, the Disco. Big ideas can often be found at the bottom of a small foil packet. Full of innovation and simple starches, he comes back with a vision and we start to create.

Ideas take time. They often come from mistakes. They rarely start ‘on screen’. All our projects start on pads of paper. We probably throw away ten times the number of ideas that get used. It's such an important part of our process and means we always have options and always push for better answers to the brief. Everybody mucks in, no idea is ever seen as ‘bad’ (okay there was that one time…..)
From there we know we have the answer. What may start with fresh air and funny drawings, may end up a film, a website, a print piece, an animation, who knows?

The statement books share the DNA of the home they present, revealing the architectural masterclass through every detail. The book ‘felt’ like the home; no corners cut, every effort made, perfection as a bare minimum. The book had to feel like a million pounds. It ended up being nothing short of priceless.
Once the books were in circulation Stately Homes saw an immediate & tangible uplift in first point of contact interest.
